Time For A Break

On this first day of 2018, I have prayerfully decided it’s time to take a deliberate break from the blog for a while.

My dream for the past several years has been to have a successful blog where I spend a good chunk of my time in front of the computer typing out posts that will encourage, edify, and enrich the lives of those who stop by to read. This is one of a few blogs that I have started over the years and I do love coming here when I can to type out the words that constantly fill my head.

However, in order to create and maintain a successful blog that people actually read, there has to be ample available time for planning and concentration and writing, as well as a good deal of time and ability to set aside for networking.

I have very little of any of that available to me at this time. For now, it is necessary for me to work at jobs to bring in a steady and consistent income and I have been blessed with a couple of them that I enjoy and afford me that necessity.

As I have done the usual planning for the new year, I feel very strongly that I need to be making intentional connections in areas where I am able and to let go of those areas where I am not able, at this time, to form those connections. With limited time, especially for the marketing and networking aspect of maintaining a blog that is actually read by people, I have to put it on the proverbial back burner for now.

However, I will continue to maintain my Facebook page and pray that it will be a blessing and encouragement to those who enjoy it and who take a moment to stop and read it while scrolling down through their news feeds.

There is a link to it on my right side bar here on the blog or you can click on this link to get to it:

Thank you so much and hopefully, someday, I will be back!
